1. About FanRink

FanRink (“we”, “us”, “our”) is an independent fan-run social platform for ice hockey supporters worldwide. FanRink is operated by FanRink, based in Scotland, United Kingdom.

FanRink is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or officially connected to any ice hockey league, team, governing body, or sports organisation referenced on this platform, including but not limited to the NHL, EIHL, KHL, SHL, DEL, PWHL, AIHL, or any of their member clubs. All team names, logos, colours, and related marks are the intellectual property of their respective owners.

2. Team and League Profiles

Team and league profile pages on FanRink are fan-managed community spaces by default. Unless a profile is explicitly marked as “Official” with a verified badge, it has not been created or endorsed by the team or organisation it represents. It is run by fans, for fans.

Teams and leagues can claim and verify their official profile by contacting us at supportteam@fanrink.com. Once verified, the profile will display an Official badge and be managed by the rights holder.

3. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using FanRink, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

4. Third-Party Intellectual Property

FanRink displays factual information about ice hockey teams, leagues, players, and competitions for the purposes of fan discussion and community building. This includes team names, league names, arena names, and match data.

We make no claim of ownership over any third-party trademarks, logos, trade names, or branding. Where team crests or logos appear, they are used solely for identification purposes in a fan context and remain the property of their respective rights holders.

5. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on FanRink. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform. You are responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights.

We reserve the right to remove content that infringes intellectual property rights, violates these Terms, or that we deem harmful to the community.

6. Prohibited Conduct

• Impersonating any team, league, player, or official organisation
• Posting content that infringes copyright or trademarks
• Harassment, hate speech, or abusive behaviour toward other users
• Spamming, scraping, or automated access without permission
• Using FanRink to mislead others about the source or endorsement of content

7. Disclaimers

FanRink provides match data, scores, and schedules sourced from public data providers. This information is provided in good faith but may not always be accurate or up to date.

FanRink is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland, United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of FanRink after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
