FanRink is operated by FanRink, based in Scotland, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for personal data collected through fanrink.com.

- Account data: email address, username, display name, password (hashed)
- Profile data: avatar, bio, location, favourite team — provided voluntarily
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, posts and comments created
- Device data: browser type, operating system, timezone (for displaying correct game times)
- Communications: messages sent through the platform, support requests
We do not collect payment card details directly — payments are handled by Stripe.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To provide and improve the FanRink platform
- To personalise your experience (your team, your feed, your timezone)
- To send you notifications about activity on your account
- To send platform updates and important service information
- To detect and prevent abuse, spam, and fraud
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
4. Legal Basis (UK GDPR)
- Contract: to provide the service you signed up for

5. Data Sharing
- Supabase — database and authentication provider
- Vercel — hosting provider
- Resend — email delivery
- Stripe — payment processing (where applicable)
All processors are contractually bound to protect your data in line with UK GDPR.
6. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your data, and to withdraw consent at any time. Email supportteam@fanrink.com — we respond within 30 days.
7. Data Retention
We retain your data while your account is active. On deletion we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is legally required.
8. Cookies
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management, and analytics cookies where consented. Manage preferences via the cookie banner on first visit.
