How FanRink Works
FanRink is the hockey world’s social arena. Here’s what’s inside and how to make the most of it.
For Fans
The Ice
Your global hockey feed. Every post, goal clip, game thread and hockey moment from every team and league on FanRink.
Find it: Bottom nav — the puck icon
My Rink
Your personalised feed. Filtered to the teams and leagues you follow. Your team, your rivals, nothing else.
Find it: Tap the home icon
Fanzones
Every team has its own Fanzone — one community for that team's fans. Match photos, game threads, club updates, fan reactions.
Locker Rooms
Fan-created communities. Not tied to a team — built around topics. Beer league chat, fantasy hockey, transfer rumours.
Find it: Community tab
Scores and Games
Live scores, schedules and results. Filter the feed to game activity, or browse the Recent Results and Upcoming rails. Tap any game card to join the game thread.
Find it: Scoreboard icon
Your Profile
Your fan identity. Badge collection, XP, posts, followed teams.
Find it: Tap your avatar
Messages
Direct messages between fans.
Find it: Messages tab
For Teams and Clubs
If you play hockey — rec, beer league, junior, university — your team belongs on FanRink too.
Search for your team first
Before you do anything, search your team name in FanRink. It might already be there, especially if you play in a registered league. If it comes up, go to the team page.
If your team is not there, request it
On the search results page, tap "Can’t find your team?" Fill in the request: team name, league or association, location, your role. FanRink usually adds teams within 48 hours and notifies you when it’s live.
Claim your team's Fanzone
Go to the team page and tap "Claim this team." This gives you team admin access — post official updates, pin posts, manage the Fanzone, invite co-admins.
Set up your team profile
Add your team logo, team colours, home rink and league. Takes five minutes. Your players and fans see this every time they visit.
Invite your players
From your team admin panel, go to Roster and tap "Invite players." Share the invite link in your WhatsApp group chat — fastest way. Or enter email addresses one at a time.
Invite opposing teams
Share the team invite link with opposition team admins in your league. When they join, game threads between your teams start automatically.
Post your first update
Post from your team admin identity: a training session photo, a fixture announcement, a pre-match lineup. Your followers and players see it immediately.
